UPDATE: Thanks to our customers, $11,657.00 was donated to help homeless veterans in New Hampshire, and the raffle winner of the M1 Garand rifle has been drawn!

This is Retired Army Colonel Phil Richard accepting the check.

If you’ve been into the store, you’ve probably noticed the 55 gallon drum by the stairs, and all the money that’s been deposited inside it has been donated to Harbor Homes / Veterans First, located in both Manchester & Nashua. Thank you to each and every one of you that supported Harbor Homes / Veterans First. This $11,657.00 will be a great thing for them this holiday season.
The M1 Garand is a Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) rifle that was sealed in plastic for over 25 years. It has not been shot since it was bought from the CMP. A total of 895 raffle tickets for the M1 Garand were sold. That’s part of the $11,657.00 total donation, and 100% of the money stays in NH to help the neediest of our veterans.

The raffle winner is very pleased, and he gave us permission to post his name and photo. The winner is Charles Marsden! Congratulations, Charles!
